The Most Preferred College Fraternity in the World

Fact: More men join Kappa Sigma than any other College Fraternity

Kappa Sigma traces its origins to the year 1400 in Bologna, Italy. The first chapter was founded in 1869 at the University of Virginia, and the Gamma Psi chapter at Oklahoma State University was established in 1920.

With over 350 active chapters in North America and over 175,000 living alumni, Kappa Sigma leads American fraternities in pledges, new initiates per year, service hours, and philanthropic donations.

Kappa Sigma provides opportunity for motivated men to excel academically and socially. Extensive interaction with sororities, on and off campus activities, as well as alumni interaction expand the brothers' range of contacts exponentially. It is not difficult to find campus leaders and business professionals that are Kappa Sigma brothers and alumni.

Oklahoma State has a informal rush process which recruits all year! Interested? Find out more about recruitment!

The Four Pillars

Striving for excellence in Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service produces Brothers who are involved in all aspects of campus life; who excel academically as students and professionally upon graduation; who develop lifelong bonds with those around them and who support those peers; and who serve their colleges and communities. Becoming a Kappa Sigma provides the framework to build yourself into the man you want to be.
